The Witcher 3 vs. Dragon Age Inquisition – Which Game Do You Prefer?
The Witcher 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition are very popular RPG games and today we’re going to compare them.
Heroes
The Witcher 3 features Geralt of Rivia who’s a one-man monster killing “machine”. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to select any other character or change its appearance, as this is the only hero in this game.
On the other hand, in the Dragon Age: Inquisition, you will be able to customize your character from a variety of classes and races. You will also be able to choose the gender of your character, which in our opinion is a plus.
Supporting Characters
In The Witcher 3 game, you will need to play mostly alone, but sometimes there will be other characters that will support you.
On the other hand, Dragon Age: Inquisition comes with party members, which you will be able to control in order to suit your strategy. You will learn more and more about each character that’s has joined your “party” and eventually you will think of them as family.
The Combat
In the Witcher 3 game, you will control only Geralt and fight with monsters. You will be able to slow down the action to be able to equip items and spells.
However, Dragon Age: Inquisition combat is a mix of real time action and tactics. As we’ve told you above, you are able to control a party of four characters and hop from a character to another to give orders. You will be able to pause the game and zoom out so that you can take a more strategy approach of the game.
The Bad Guy
There is no main “bad guy” in the Witcher 3, but instead there are several bad guys. The primary “bad guy” is the leader of the Wild Hunt also known as Eredin and all the commanders who lead his army. There are also other “bad guys” such as military leaders, a king and others.
Dragon Age: Inquisition comes with bad guy named Corypheus who was firstly introduced in the DLC for Dragon Age 2. Corypheus also comes with a huge dragon and in the final battle you will meet both of them.
