Clash of Clans Update – Clan Donations Refund and 1-Gem Resources Boost

A new Clash of Clans update has been released today, just a day before Christmas. The players who have been struggling to get gold, elixir and dark elixir and since the major Clash of Clans update went live they can now start gaining more resources.

However, before we tell you more about that, we will give you some news that will sure make you donate some of your troops to your clan members.

Clash of Clans: Clan Donations Refund

A “Donation Refund Event” has started in Clash of Clans. According to Anoushka, a Supercell Staff member, the players will be able to receive over 20% of the resources they’ve spent on the troops once they donate them to the Clan Members.

Anoushka said that the donation refund also stacks with the “donation refund perk” of the Clan. For example, if you are in a clan that has level 8, you will receive 35% of the resources back that you’ve invested in the donated troops + 20% extra, meaning that you will receive back 55% of the resources you’ve invested in those troops.

However, Supercell hasn’t confirmed if the “Donation Refund” event works also for the donated spells. Keep in mind that this event will be enabled “for a limited period of time” and we’re not sure exactly when it will end.

Clash Of Clans: 1 Gem Boost

The “1 Gem Boost” event is back in Clash of Clans. Using 1 Gem, you will be able to boost the production rate of your Gold, Elixir and Dark Elixir. We’re not sure yet when this event will end, but there are high chances that it will last until the end of the year.
