Minecraft Wii U – Features, Improvements and Customization Packs Available
There is a new Wii U variant of Mojang’s Minecraft that is up for grabs on eShop. There is also add-on content, which is expected to roll out to the rest of the platforms as well.
Minecraft: Wii U Edition comes with off-TV play, which is a one-of-a-kind feature that the latter console sports. If you download the game, it can be played on Wii U’s GamePad or if you prefer, one can enjoy this game on HDTV.
Minecraft: Wii U Edition rolled out with some neat content (the paid variant) such as a bunch of skins and texture packs on other platforms. These include:
Battle & Beasts Skin and Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack
Natural Texture Pack
City Texture Pack
Fantasy Texture Pack as well as Festive Mash-up Pack. Gamers can also find 16 of these packs throughout the game.
In other news, at this week’s eShop upgrade, Capcom will be revealing Game Boy Advance Mega Man (the trio) which will be up for grabs through Nintendo’s Virtual Console service.
What is also brand new on the Wii U is a Virtual Console port with Mega Man Zero 4 and Capcom’s Mega Man Battle Network 5. You can get your hands on the Team Colonel and Team Protoman variants of Mega Man Battle Network 5 for just $7 per piece.
According to Nintendo “Game content is the same for Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Colonel and Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman, but NetNavi chips and other items may differ.”
Gamers will be happy to hear that there are others games are available via the Wii U eShop and these are Temple of Yog and Island Flight Simulator. You can also find the 2D variant of The Legend of Dark Witch 2 and The Delusions of Von Sottendorff and His Square Mind. Check them out today!
