How to Improve Your WhatsApp Experience on Android

WhatsApp keeps making changes and updates to its messaging app just so as to improve the user experience of the chat app.

Ever since it was introduced in 2009, the chat app has seen lots of changes come its way. The newly launched Chat Helper for WhatsApp is a product of one of XDA developers who goes by the name jagan2. The Helper embeds a widget of the chat app and displays it at any given time you chat with a friend, showing you all of your unread messages.

When you click on this widget, a full screen will show up with all of your unread threads. It is possible to switch from this screen to another page of your group or even contacts. Another way of doing this is to simply hit the X buttons as you maneuver your way back to your chat. Hitting the back button will take you back to a previous chat that you were engaged in.

How to setup Chat Helper for WhatsApp on Android 6.0 Marshmallow

According to the developer of the application, users of the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow will have to go through two steps in order to setup the app on their phones. When the app asks for permissions, it is recommended to allow it permanent access by hitting the “Always Allow” option. In this way, the app will automatically get everything in place at the right time.

Just in case of any obstruction from the unread chats, simply drag the chats to a new place and when viewing the unread chats window, you can rely on the X button to quickly access new chats.
